WILL MY CHILD'S PHOTO BE USED FOR PUBLICITY PURPOSES?
The school uses general photographs of students in publicity material to promote the school (e.g. on the website). On these occasions no student is named.
Photographs of individuals or small groups of students are used to promote the specific successes or achievements of the school, that group or a specific individual. These photographs can appear in local newspapers and on our web site. On these occasions names are normally used.
Parents (or students over the age of 16) who do not wish to have photographs used in these ways should write to the Headteacher at the school. Even when a parent or student has asked in writing for a photograph not to be taken it remains the responsibility of the student to remind anyone taking a photograph that he/she must not be included in it.
