Choosing a secondary school for your child is one of the biggest decisions a family can make and our aim is to give you as much support as possible in making your choice. We are a popular and highly successful school serving the Fylde Coast. We work closely with our primary schools for students coming to us, as well as with our post 16 providers for when students are ready to leave. Our role is to work with parents to produce fantastic young people. During the course of our Open Evening, you will have the opportunity to observe and participate in the work of our school; to meet staff and students. You will see that we are in the middle of a £20m rebuild, which will give us the best facilities in the area. Our student guides will be happy to guide you around school or, alternatively, you can visit the various displays and activities yourself, using this booklet as a guide.

Starting Secondary School - The TransitionWe take great pride in our induction of new students in the knowledge that a settled and happy student will flourish academically and socially. We work closely with our feeder primary schools to exchange academic and pastoral information on the students which is used strategically to plan the curriculum and pastoral support. Students looking at enrolling at Lytham St Annes High School are given the opportunity to look around our school and find out all about the exciting subjects we offer at our information evening on the 6th of October. If you are a Year 6 parent who would like to attend, please can you confirm which session you would like to attend via the dedicated email address: movingup2023@lsahigh.org However, if you have any questions or concerns then please feel free to contact us. Please be aware that there is no such thing as a silly question, so if anything is worrying you, please email us to put your mind at ease. Email us on: |
